  1. I moved to the US a year ago and I’m just about to visit my family back in Germany. That gives me the chance to get rid of even more things I’ve left here. It is amazing how easy it is to declutter when you were away and are 100% sure that you didn’t miss certain things. (It is different when you stored it in the closet and could get it out within 2 minutes, compared to having an ocean between you and whatever the item is.) So I already gave away tons of clothes, shoes and make up.
I also through out all the old magazines I kept in order to read that one interesting article again later. Next thing will be a bunch of travel guides I bought ahead of time, because they were on sale back then and the countries are on my bucket list. Such a waste! Not only are they outdated but also getting the information out of the internet or an e-book travel guide is so much more convenient.
Anyway it feels SO liberating to have less stuff and also it is a good feeling to give the things that still can be used to people who have less and make someone happy.

  2. Love this! Great advice for business and life in general. I’m currently preparing my very neglected home office space for my new business. I’m decluttering (I have BAGS full of paper that I’m recycling and shredding) both my space and my mind 😀 Thanks for a great video. xo Kimmay

  3. After watching your video it really cut to the heart of some long repressed feelings of hurt and abandonment and abuse. It wasn’t until after my divorce and moving to another state where I failed and through a series of situations found myself back living with my mother did I begin to see that in spite of how I felt I cannot run or hide. I learned that having stuff doesn’t make you happy in I have cleared out the paper clutter which has been a lot, I sold household items on eBay and I am going to retrieve property I left in the last state I lived in, I vowed to live clutter/stuff free and to have more life experiences which would make me for fulfilled other than collecting stuff.

  4. I have watched this video so many times cause it just hit me how much clutter physically and mentally I was holding onto. I started reading The 21 Day financial fast by Michelle Singletary and really got an idea as to how cluttered my financial world was as well. Once I started counseling and did exercises that made me release all the emotional clutter I began to tackle the physical clutter. I have been free from depression and anxiety and I have made progress in mending relationships with my family. No every day isn’t perfect however I am in a better place than I was before. I have shared this video in the hopes that others get that same release and are able to move forward. Loved the video on the North Star Syndrome I will practice that meditation
