Gloria Roheim McRae And Natalie MacNeil On Mantras, Mission, and Making Shit Happen

More and more graduates are realizing that traditional employment is not always the best option; it’s self-sufficiency first. But how do you achieve that, and take over the world? Be Your Own Boss (BYOB), that’s how.

I’m Gloria Roheim McRae. I’m 29 years old, I’m the co-founder of Wedge15 Inc., the best-selling author of BYOB: The Unapologetic Guide to Being Your Own Boss, and a proud international speaker. By the time I was 25, I’d held 21 different jobs in five different sectors, and I’d had enough! I decided to become my own boss, and I’ve never looked back. Now I’m passionate about empowering others to do the same.

Boss-hood, which most people call entrepreneurship, is often either glorified or completely misunderstood. Through my best-selling book and BYOB interview series, I clear up the common misconceptions surrounding boss-hood and inspire those who’ve got great business ideas but don’t know where to start, or who are looking to become a boss within the company they already work for.

In this week’s BYOB interview episode, I couldn’t be more proud to interview She Takes on the World’s very own Natale MacNeil. In our time together, this best-selling author, Emmy-award winner, and all around #ladyboss gets right into the raw goods, from her life mantra to her million-dollar financial goals. You have to check out this juicy episode below, featuring my Canadian soul-sister:

When you’re done taking in Natalie’s wisdom and fantastic advice, we want to hear from you in the comments section below: What’s your mantra? What gets you through the highs and the lows in the valley of life? We love hearing from you!
