6 Easy Ways To Attract Your Perfect Hire

How To Create A Dream Job Description For A Virtual Hire

I’ve got a brand new episode of She Takes on the World TV today to help you find the perfect virtual hire, which can be tricky — especially if it’s your first hire. But first, I have some really exciting news that I feel like I’ve waited an eternity to share with you! This post is a little longer than most, but I want to share more about why we’re making big changes in our business and I know getting a glimpse behind-the-scenes of our decision making is something that will serve you as you build your own business.

The Backstory:

I was going through numbers for our 2016 budget using the zero-based budgeting principle, and I got to the line items for our content and productions. Creating free experiences, videos, resources, and events for this community is one of my biggest investments and also one of my greatest joys. When I looked at what I had invested in total over the last few years, my jaw dropped a bit. I knew the numbers year to year but seeing the total all added up just put it into perspective. Over $200,000.00. That’s how much I’ve spent creating free content, experiences, and events for the She Takes on the World community.

I sat down with a cup of tea to dive deeper into the analytics and what content people were engaging with the most. (You’ll find out what I discovered further down in this post!) I looked at ROI, and not ROI just in terms of money because as a CEO, I measure ROI in a lot of different ways. I want to make sure these investments we make serve as many people as possible and provide real value that you can implement and take action on in your life and business.

I was on a panel at an event during my book tour and a gentleman came up afterwards to ask me a question about his list. He said, “My open rate keeps on dropping. What’s wrong with people?! Are they just getting too many emails and too much content?” My response was this: “You’re asking the wrong question! You need to ask yourself what’s wrong with YOU, and how YOU can provide more value and be of highest service to those who have invited you into their inbox.”

Providing more value and being of highest service is what we’ve been thinking about a lot at She Takes on the World Inc., and that brings me to how things will be changing in our business…

How Things Will Be Changing Around Here:

Starting today, I’ll be sharing a little “something extra” with each new episode — worksheet downloadables to help you implement what I’m teaching, and put my She Takes on the World TV actionables to work in your business.

These freebies are part of a bigger picture plan my team and I have been working on to deliver as much value to you as possible and really help you achieve those goals you’re working on in your business. In The Conquer Club, my 12 month implementation incubator, we are committed to helping our members take massive action and we want to build more implementation support into everything we do.

There’s another change coming that I’m over-the-moon excited about and have been working on for over a year. Do you wanna know what content got the most views and the most engagement from this community over the last 18 months? My meditations and mindset content!

In April we’ll be launching a new sister company to She Takes on the World that will be bringing you meditations and tools you can turn to every day to amplify your intentions, stay rooted in your mission, power up your mindset, let go of the blocks holding you back, and so much more. After a lot of discussions and planning, we’re spinning this segment of our content into a new company because we want to keep She Takes on the World laser focused on building your business.

Over the last year I’ve created a lot of meditations, mindset videos, and mudra and mantra classes that I haven’t shared yet because they don’t quite fit into the She Takes on the World brand. Be sure to sign up for our weekly newsletter below so that you can be the first to hear our big announcement in April when this new brand launches! When you join our free subscriber list, you’ll also get access to exclusive new downloads and once we launch, each month you’ll get two new episodes of She Takes on the World TV with worksheets to go with them, and two new meditations or mindset tools. And we’ll give you the option to only get certain content delivered to your inbox if you don’t want the meditations but want She Takes on the World TV, or you want the meditations without She Takes on the World TV. The choice will be yours.

Are you as excited about these changes as I am?! We’d love to hear from you — snap a pic after you download and complete the worksheet and share it with me on Twitter or Instagram @nataliemacneil.

  1. I’m really excited about this development as I will love this extra information as well as the entrepreneurial content. I saw you on an interview with Denise Duffield-Thomas talking about mudras and that really interests me – so thank you for the additional meditations and mantras etc. If I had the new Facebook love button here I would definitely be clicking that! 🙂

    1. Thank you Alison! And yes, we need to switch over to Facebook comments on our site so we can have all those new buttons. Working on it! 😉

  2. Thank you for this! Do you have some advice on websites you can find a good virtual assistant? Do you have the people you work with close where you live?

    1. We use upwork.com (the merger of Elance.com and odesk.com) and have found some great team members that way. Whether your team members are close to where you live or not is a personal preference. We tend to hire within North America because we want to be able to have team calls, and have timezones line up.
