4 Ways To Magically Turn Viewers Into Customers

4 Ways To Magically Turn Viewers Into Customers

I’ve just returned from Necker Island, where I had the incredible opportunity to spend the past week with a collective of brilliant, philanthropic entrepreneurs and business legend Sir Richard Branson. It’s been truly one of the most memorable weeks of my entire life, and I learned so much from Richard Branson and my fellow entrepreneurs.

I was grateful to share the experience with soul sister Diana of Tiny Devotions, and we got started on a collaboration that I’m so excited to share with you later this year. I was pushed outside my comfort zone a lot these last 9 days, and I’ve had more fun than I’ve had in a long time. Richard thrives on fun, pranking his guests and playing as hard as he works. Diana and I decided to retaliate on one of his pranks by dressing up as lemurs and hiding in the bushes to water balloon him at 7 a.m. on his way to tennis. He thought it was brilliant and loved that we weren’t afraid to prank him back since not everyone will. I recorded some videos for you so I could take you behind the scenes of the adventure so watch for those as upcoming episodes of She Takes on the World TV!

A week on Necker Island with Sir Richard Branson

I’ve got a great new episode of She Takes on the World TV to share with you today, and we’re going to talk about how to leverage media placement into extraordinary new growth for your business, with 4 simple strategies that almost magically transform your viewers into awesome new customers.

This episode is based off a brand-new program that mediapreneur extraordinaire Gwen Elliot and I are launching in June. We’re teaming up to help YOU harness the power of media, and get your message to the masses in the biggest way ever on stages, TV screens, podcasts and radio, and in print — with The Media Method, our 6 module DIY program!

No matter what stage you’re in with your business — if you’re just getting started, writing a book (or book proposal), launching a new product, or building your list — if you want to get seriously seen, and attract a record number of new buyers and readers, you NEED media attention to grow. Through The Media Method, we’ll help you cut through the noise and “newbie” time-wasting errors, and start racking up epic media features, that will grow your platform to amazing heights.

Now back to our episode…When you receive your first “YES” to a media pitch, it can be easy to get caught up in the excitement of the moment and not think about anything beyond the big interview. However, they say “the fortune is in the follow up,” and when it comes to getting featured in the media, you have a HUGE opportunity to leverage viewers into new customers IF you plan in advance and know the right approach.

Let’s dive into those strategies right now, in the video below:

Your actionable this week is to choose one of these tactics to use with an upcoming media placement OR, if you don’t have any new interviews soon, you can always reshare an older interview or write a behind-the-scenes blog post about it after the fact.

Be sure to let us know YOUR tips and tricks for getting more customers through media placement, or any questions you might have about this process in a comment below. We love hearing from you!

  1. Natalie,
These are great points. They each seem obvious, but they require foresight and planning. Great ideas.

    1. Thanks Sue! I’m happy to hear this episode was valuable for you. Let me know what ideas you plan to implement first. 🙂

    1. You’re welcome Kat! I agree, adding logos is such a simple thing but it does have major impact. Glad it’s worked for you, too. 🙂

    1. So glad you liked this video Moran. Please keep me posted on how things are going with getting media coverage. Have you started pitching yet?

  2. Okay – Natalie, I love your videos and like the others I have watched this one has great value.
I am still waiting on your book, She takes on the world, to arrive in the mail and have work to do to complete my first time through the Conquer Kit. Thanks for continuing to create great content!

The added surprise today when I opened up your post was to hear about your adventure and see an old friend (and former basketball teammate) smiling back at me from the page. I am already an fan and customer of Tiny Devotions and every time I see something new and exciting happening for them it fills me with joy to see someone I know (or knew – lets be real it’s been over a decade and she probably wouldn’t recognize me if she saw me on the street) looking so happy, healthy and successful. Way to go Dee!

    1. What a small world! It makes me happy to hear you’re an old friend of Diana’s. 🙂 Please keep in touch as you work through The Conquer Kit – I’d love for you to update us with your progress. Big hugs!
