Entrepreneur: What’s holding you back from the success you desire?
We all hold onto emotions and past traumas and heartaches that can affect us in so many different ways, and these blocks can actually prevent us entrepreneurs from fully conquering in our businesses and in our lives.
When I first heard about the emotional freedom technique (“EFT” or “Tapping”), I’ll admit I was skeptical. But in learning that EFT is a powerful, drug-free, easy-to-learn, easy-to-use technique that can reduce stress or painful emotions associated with thoughts, past experiences, etc., I decided I had nothing to lose and gave it a shot. And I’m so glad I did — it’s helped me conquer the blocks that were holding me back, in a really big way.
As energy trainer and EFT trainer Susan Bushell says, “Business growth depends on the emotional health of the business owner.” (Click to tweet!) That’s why I chose to kick off The Conquer Summit with our first and only EFT session and why I’m sharing this amazing session with all the She Takes on the World community.
In this 30-minute session with Susan Bushell we cover:
- What the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is, and how it works as “acupressure for your emotions”
- How you can use EFT to “rewire” your mind to reframe uncomfortable and limiting beliefs
- A guided exercise to help you discover profound self-acceptance of your flaws, doubts, and challenges

Your actionable is to find a moment in your day, preferably in the morning, to think about your business day ahead and ask yourself, “What do I have planned?” and “What do I hope to accomplish?”
Then allow yourself to notice, and be mindful of how it feels – are you nervous about it, under confident, or tired? Just notice the feeling and tap while you tune into that felling, being sure to breathe deeply to calm your nervous system so the tapping works. And keep tapping until a choice, an opportunity or even just a lighter perspective arrives. It might be something as simple as, “I might learn something new today.” And be sure to let me know in a comment below how this works for you.
