Want to Succeed in Business? The #1 Thing You Need to Realize

30.05.12

You can be the greatest entrepreneur on the planet and still fail if you’re missing out on my #1 success factor in business.

It doesn’t matter if you’re a solo entrepreneur or running a multi-million dollar global corporation, everyone needs one of these.

I’d love to hear your story about the people you work with and how they have helped you shine, or on the flip side, your story about someone who tried to bring you down and how you dealt with it.

While I’m talking about people, I’d love to give a huge shoutout to Kristen Durkin, who was formerly the Managing Editor at She Takes on the World and is now moving into Chieftess of Operations as well as Ronketi Brown, my lovely virtual assistant turned Community Manager. They help me keep things rockin’ and rollin’ around here and I couldn’t do it without them!

I like to be around the people I aspire to be like: serial entrepreneurs. I’m fascinated with their systems and how they can jump to unrelated industries in a single bound. We all are sponges and who we surround ourselves with is who we become!

    I couldn’t agree more!… I have worked with a
team of very talented individuals but they were not able to work as a
“Team” due to personality conflicts. There was too much time spent on
getting everyone to play nice… And not enough focus on ‘Getting the Goal/Job
done’… Therefore, the company suffered. This was both a hard but much needed lesson
    for the company to learn.

Even I run a business and ask me how much worried I am for all these things. Thank you so much for this post. I really like it.
