Bodyweight Workout to Lose Body Fat

As busy women it’s important that we take time for ourselves and stay healthy. Studies show that exercise makes you happier and more productive!

As a fitness professional I am always being asked ‘what are the most effective workouts to lose body fat’?

My answer: A high intensity bodyweight workout is a quick and effective way to lose body fat.

Bodyweight Workout to Lose Body Fat:

 

1.      Warm –up

This is very important to prepare your body for the main workout. Perform each exercise for 30 seconds, one after the other without rest.

  • Squats
  • Push-ups
  • Reverse Lunges
  • Plank with leg lift
  • Split Squats
  • Bodyweight Rows
  • Jump Squats
  • V Pose

 

2.      Rest 30 Seconds & Repeat twice more

  • Split Squats
  •  Bodyweight Rows
  • Jump Squats
  • V Pose

 

3.      Rest 30 Seconds & Repeat twice more.

 

Finish off with a good stretch on your upper and lower body.

This bodyweight workout will take you no time at all to do and can even be done in your hotel room, the park or in the office!
